We are Frankly My Dear
In 2019, Frankly My Dear was founded, in Copenhagen, by film composer Steffen Breum (The Story Of Denmark, The Heirs), and music producer Thomas Bertelsen (Lulu Rouge, TOM And His Computer), to represent a community of artists, composers, producers and sound designers at all points of their respective careers. While each creator is unique, they share the common traits of skill, originality, and character.
After years of working with artists, we are privileged to have strong relationships with filmmakers and musicians whom we deeply respect. On both sides of the table, we’ve encountered a variation of the same problem:
Filmmakers find it frustratingly difficult to discover inspiring original music, and artists are often at a loss as to how they can showcase their work to potential collaborators.
Frankly My Dear is the solution for both parties, allowing them to focus their time on creating.
We encourage you to crate dig through our carefully curated collections, where you’ll find signature songs, as well as unheard compositions, unpublished recordings, rare outtakes, raw instrumentals, and explorative soundscapes.
Once you find what you like, we’re here to help with all components of the synch process, from labeling and licensing, to clearances.
Artist to artist – art to art.
